Downtown Lions

Saskatoon Downtown Lions Club

The Saskatoon Downtown Lions Club originated in 1937 as the first club in Saskatoon. At the time it was chartered as the Saskatoon Lions Club and was sponsored by the Moose Jaw Lions Club. Over the years the club's membership would grow to nearly 200 members and it supported the creation of clubs in Aberdeen, Rosetown, Unity, Kenaston, Bruno, Prince Alberta, North Battleford, Biggar, and Nutana.

In its more than 80 years of service, the Club has raised over $1 million for the community and over $700,000 on vision-related project.
